Using the Wireless Display Adapter is very easy. It uses an HDMI port and USB port on your TV, projector or monitor. The USB connection is to power the device – there is no power cord to plug in and no extra wire to manage through the wall if your TV is mounted. To get your content up on the big screen, simply swipe in from the right and select “Devices,” then “Project,” and select the Wireless Display Adapter (you’ll be prompted to pair it the first time you connect). Unlike a lot of products designed to stream content to your TV, you don’t need to think about whether the app you’re using supports streaming. If you see something on your Surface, you can see it on the big screen.
